We View Children as a Precious Responsibility and a Privilege to Steward as the Future of the Church, Our City, and the World

Thus, we desire to partner with parents by supporting and reinforcing the ongoing discipleship taking place in your home. As a result, each Sunday morning we welcome the next generation to come, see, and learn more about the gospel.

Drop by the Welcome Center for instructions on how to check-in.

On the right side in the back of the auditorium, a special room is located for mothers to care for their infant. Equipped with a changing station, dim lighting, speakers to listen to the service, and rocking chairs, we hope to provide a comfortable environment for mothers to engage on Sunday mornings while tending to their little ones.
For the youngest children, we sing worship songs together and plant seeds of the gospel in their hearts by teaching Bible stories from the Gospel Project curriculum by Lifeway. Often, we incorporate a craft during our time to reiterate the story and provide a take-home sheet for you to review the lesson with your child.
The older children join us in singing during the first part of our service then separate to their classroom to discuss the New City Catechesim. For part of the time, the children breakdown into discussion groups to encourage community and life application. The children are giving a folder with a take-home sheet for review and are encouraged to hide God’s Word in their hearts by memorizing the correlating scripture verse. During the summer months, we focus on mission by learning about and partnering with different ministries and missionaries from across the globe.
Do you have a child with special needs? We would love to come alongside you and your child to offer support as you participate on Sunday mornings. Thus we have a Buddy program to help your child feel comfortable and engage in Children’s Ministry. To learn more, please see the Special Needs page.

What Curriculum Do We Use?

For our preschool-aged classrooms, we use the Gospel Project by Lifeway for Christ-centered, chronological Bible studies. For our elementary-aged classrooms we use the New City Catechism curriculum to help children learn the core doctrines of the Christian faith in an effort to build a God-centered worldview and unshakable faith in Him amongst the next generation.

What Are Our Safety Procedures?

Your child's safety is one of our top priorities. A secure check-in/check-out policy is in place. All of our teachers and assistants have participated in a thorough application process and have received specialized training. If you would like to learn about the specifics of our safety plan, contact Julie Moore, our Children's Ministry Coordinator.
